Credit Report Disputes
Credit reporting agencies and the business that report information to them have an obligation to make sure the information in your credit report is accurate. The Fair Credit Reporting Act was created to stop the reporting of false information in credit reports. It gives consumers certain rights. It prevents reporting inaccurate information and outdated information, and it limits what businesses can get a consumer’s credit report.
